Literature Text

This blood tumbling, my senses wane,
The ear canals thick as the brain
That struggles for traction to gain;
A subtle tension pulls the chain
To hang me now, a noble try,
A pain no strength can fully pry.

Needles of patient neurons prick
The bankside of the river, slick,
Within my mind - sucked like a tick,
All the debris the fails to stick
Collects and clogs the underside;
The canal becomes a divide.

But still I float, paddle a bit,
Awaiting little pills and spit
To coalesce 'mongst grime and grit
Until I'm fully rid of it;
The journey now is not as steep,
As, thankfully, I fall to sleep.

DAY 8:
The form is LaCharta

I wrote this under the influence of a major headache I sustained today. Inspiration comes from everywhere.
